… “CARE, FĂRĂ STRICĂCIUNE [adică fără pierderea virginității], PE DUMNEZEU CUVÂNTUL L-AI NĂSCUT; PE TINE CEA CU ADEVĂRAT NĂSCĂTOARE DE DUMNEZEU, TE MĂRIM!” Acest fragment de text este din imnul CUVINE-SE CU ADEVĂRAT, imn adresat Sfintei Fecioare Maria, Mama Domnului nostru Iisus Hristos. Am observat că în unele variante de limbă engleză ale acestui imn în loc de “FĂRĂ STRICĂCIUNE” scrie “FĂRĂ PIERDEREA VIRGINITĂȚII”. În engleză “FĂRĂ STRICĂCIUNE” se spune “WITHOUT CORRUPTION”. Așa găsim în cele mai multe variante ale acestui imn. Adică, așa a fost tradus din limba greacă cuvântul “adiáfthoros”, care înseamnă “în mod incoruptibil, fără corupție, fără stricăciune”. Însă există și variante care în loc de “WITHOUT CORRUPTION” au tradus “WITHOUT LOSS OF VIRGINITY” sau “WITHOUT LOSING YOUR VIRGINITY”. Cred că este foarte binevenită această exprimare prin care se face referință la virginitatea perpetuă a Sfintei Fecioare Maria, adică virginitate înainte de Naștere, virginitate în Naștere și virginitate după Naștere. Altfel spus, această exprimare face referință clară la tainele mari ale credinței creștine, cum este și taina Zămislirii Supranaturale a lui Iisus, prin puterea veșnică a Duhului Sfânt și a Tatălui Ceresc Celui Preaînalt. În icoane, pururea fecioria sau virginitatea perpetuă a Maicii Domnului este exprimată prin cele trei stele (pe cap și pe umeri). Haideți să urmărim un videoclip de 1 minut și 23 de secunde cu acest imn cântat în limba engleză de creștini ortodocși din Scoția, cu varianta “WITHOUT LOSS OF VIRGINITY”! https://www.facebook.com/ion.ciungu.79/videos/289092387573091 Bineînțeles că se cuvine, și noi, care citim aceste rânduri, să Îi cerem Maicii Domnului favoarea de a ne permite să Îi adresăm un frumos salut, folosind cuvintele din Acatistul Bunei Vestiri: “BUCURĂ-TE MIREASĂ, PURUREA FECIOARĂ!”

Azi, 14 septembrie, este zi de SĂRBĂTOARE ÎN CARE SE ȚINE POST: ÎNĂLȚAREA SFINTEI CRUCI. Comemorăm MOARTEA CA JERTFĂ DE BUNĂVOIE PENTRU TOȚI OAMENII, PE CRUCEA GOLGOTEI, A MÂNTUITORULUI LUMII, DOMNUL NOSTRU IISUS HRISTOS, FIUL LUI DUMNEZEU ȘI FIUL OMULUI, CARE NE-A RĂSCUMPĂRAT DIN SCLAVIA SATANEI, DIN CHINURILE MORȚII ETERNE, ȘI NE-A ÎNFIAT LA ATOTBUNUL DUMNEZEU ATOTSFÂNT ȘI ATOTPUTERNIC, LA TATĂL NOSTRU CERESC. Îți mulțumim frumos, și noi, DOAMNE IISUSE HRISTOASE! [Haideți să ne amintim, sau să aflăm acum, textul evanghelic care se citește la Sfânta Liturghie în 14 septembrie, precum și alte informații istorice și liturgice în legătură cu sărbătoarea ÎNĂLȚAREA SFINTEI CRUCI! ... Răstignirea Domnului nostru Iisus Hristos a avut loc în 3 aprilie anul 33, după cum consideră cei mai mulți cercetători moderni. (Alții consideră că în 7 aprilie, anul 30. Se are în vedere faptul că Mântuitorul a fost răstignit într-o zi de vineri, iar sâmbăta următoare erau Paștile iudeilor. Atât în anul 30 cât și în anul 33 Paștile iudeilor au fost sâmbăta.) În anul 70 armatele romane, conduse de viitorul împărat Titus, au cucerit Ierusalimul și au distrus Templul, fiind omorâți atunci peste un milion de oameni, majoritatea evrei, iar mulți alții au devenit prizonieri și au fost duși robi. Astfel s-au împlinit evenimentele profețite de Mântuitorul cu 40 de ani înainte. Locul Răstignirii Mântuitorului pe Dealul Golgota din afara Ierusalimului și Sfântul Mormânt din apropiere au fost acoperite din ordinul împăratului roman Hadrian (117 – 138) și acolo au fost construite un templu păgân în cinstea zeiței Venus și o statuie pentru zeul Jupiter, acolo adunându-se apoi păgânii pentru a aduce jertfe idolilor, iar creștinii erau persecutați și omorâți peste tot în Împeriul Roman, în mare parte din perioada dintre anii 64 – 313 după Hristos. Primul împărat roman creștin a fost Constantin cel Mare (306 – 337), care a trimis-o pe mama sa, împărăteasa Elena, la Ierusalim, cu scrisoare către Sfântul Macarie, Patriarhul Ierusalimului, pentru a căuta și a găsi Sfânta Cruce. ... Împărăteasa a dat ordin să fie demolat templul păgân, apoi s-au rugat la Dumnezeu și au început să ecaveze terenul. În curând a fost descoperit Mormântul Domnului nostru Iisus Hristos. Nu departe de Mormânt au găsit trei cruci, o scândură cu inscripția ordonată de Pilat și cele patru cuie care au străpuns mâinile și picioarele Mântuitorului. Pentru a identifica dintre cele trei cruci Crucea Mântuitorului, Patriarhul Macarie a atins pe rând crucile de trupul unui om mort. Când Crucea Domnului a atins mortul, acesta a înviat. Încă o minune a avut loc atunci: o femeie grav bolnavă a fost vindecată pe loc, sub umbra Sfintei Cruci. Astfel s-au convins că a fost găsită Crucea Dătătoare De Viață. Creștinii în număr mare au venit să cinstească Sfânta Cruce, rugându-l pe Sfântul Macarie să înalțe Crucea în așa fel încât și persoanele care erau la distanță să o poată contempla. Atunci Patriarhul Macarie a înălțat Crucea, iar poporul credincios, zicând “Doamne miluiește!”, s-a închinat cu mult respect Sfintei Cruci. Acest eveniment solemn a avut loc în anul 326.] MÂNTUIEȘTE, DOAMNE, POPORUL TĂU, ȘI BINECUVINTEAZĂ MOȘTENIREA TA! BIRUINȚĂ BINECREDINCIOȘILOR CREȘTINI ASUPRA POTRIVNICILOR DĂRUIEȘTE ȘI CU CRUCEA TA PĂZEȘTE-L PE POPORUL TĂU! (Troparul Sfintei Cruci). Acest imn îl cântăm, sau îl rostim, sau îl ascultăm, începând de la vecernia din 13 septembrie, continuăm așa în ziua sărbătorii ÎNĂLȚAREA SFINTEI CRUCI (pe 14 septembrie), precum și în perioada de odovanie a sărbătorii ÎNĂLȚAREA SFINTEI CRUCI. Odovanie înseamnă “dupăprăznuire” sau “prăznuire prelungită”, adică o perioadă de păstrare în rugăciuni a subiectului unei sărbători. Adeseori, prin odovanie se înțelege numai ultima zi din perioada de “prăznuire prelungită”. Ultima zi din perioada de prăznuire prelungită a sărbătorii ÎNĂLȚAREA SFINTEI CRUCI este pe 21 septembrie. (Prin tropar înțelegem un imn scurt, de obicei de o strofă, care rezumă tema/subiectul unei sărbători.). ... Sărbătoarea ÎNĂLȚAREA SFINTEI CRUCI este SĂRBĂTOARE ÎN CARE ȚINEM POST, PENTRU A NE ASOCIA ȘI NOI, CUMVA, LA SUFERINȚELE MÂNTUITORULUI PENTRU NOI. ... CRUCEA este SIMBOLUL iubirii lui DUMNEZEU față de oameni, precum și simbolul victoriei divino-umane eterne asupra lui Satan și asupra morții.
