"Aflat în centrul
unor cercetări teoretice intense, dar și al unor controverse ideologice și
culturale majore, comportamentul homosexual reprezintă unul dintre cele mai
sensibile și mai provocatoare subiecte ale zilelor noastre.
Volumul de față,
rezultat al unei teze de doctorat Creștin-Ortodoxă, examinează problematica
originii acestui comportament, atât din perspectivă științifică, cât și din cea
teologică, precum și implicațiile ei de ordin moral și pastoral.
Cercetările științifice
moderne în genetică arată că nu există genă gay, după cum Sfânta Scriptură de mii
de ani arată că Dumnezeu nu l-a creat pe om să fie homosexual. În prezent,
comunitatea științifică discută mai ales despre implicarea factorilor
poligenetici și epigenetici în conturarea diferitelor comportamente umane,
inclusiv a celor de ordin sexual. Dar Biblia ne spune de mii de ani despre
schimbările dureroase pe care păcatul le produce în omul care se îndepărtează
de Dumnezeu.
În contextul actual,
propaganda ideologică homosexuală este promovată și finanțată masiv în toate
sectoarele societății de către persoanele care nu cunosc sau nu vor să respecte
Legea Divină.
În lumina Revelației
Divine, ridicarea omului căzut și înoirea minții și a vieții lui în Dumnezeu
sunt posibile. Domnul nostru Iisus Hristos, Fiul lui Dumnezeu și Fiul Omului,
Învățătorul și Mântuitorul lumii, ne luminează și ne oferă mântuire veșnică
prin Legea Noului Testament. El ne spune că „în Cer va fi mai multă bucurie
pentru un păcătos care se pocăiește, decât pentru nouăzeci și nouă de drepți
care n-au nevoie de pocăință.” "

"At the center of
intense theoretical research, as well as major ideological and cultural
controversies, homosexual behaviour is one of the most sensitive and
provocative topics of our time.
This volume, the result
of a doctoral thesis in Orthodox Christian Theology, examines the issuse of the
origin of this behavior, both from a scientific and theological perspective, as
well as its moral and pastoral implications.
Modern scientific
research in genetics shows that there is no gay gene, just as the Holy
Scripture has shown for thousands of years that God did not create man to be
homosexual. Currently, the scientific community mainly discusses the involvement
of polygenetic and epigenetic factors in shaping various human behaviors,
including sexual ones. But the Bible has been telling us for thousands of years
about the painful changes that sin produces in the man who distances himself
from God.
In the current context,
homosexual ideological propaganda is massively promoted and financed in all
sectors of society by people who do not know or do not want to respect the
Divine Law.
In the light of Divine
Revelation, the elevation of fallen man and the renewal of his mind and life in
God are possible. Our Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God and the Son of Man, the
Teacher and Savior of the world, enlightens us and offers us eternal salvation
through the Law of the New Testament. He tells us that „there will be more
rejoicing in Heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine rightous
persons who do not need to repent.” "
