"În ziua pe care acum
o numim Vinerea Mare, s-a întâmplat ceva extraordinar la Ierusalim. Conform
Evangheliilor, Iisus a fost răstignit la ceasul al treilea (în jurul orei 9
dimineața, Marcu 15:25) și a murit la ceasul al nouălea - în jurul orei 15:00
(Matei 27:45-50; Marcu 15:33-37; Luca 23:44-46).
În acel moment precis,
întunericul a acoperit țara, Iisus a strigat: „S-a sfârșit” și Și-a dat duhul.
Perdeaua templului s-a rupt în două, pământul s-a cutremurat și istoria s-a
schimbat pentru totdeauna.
Dar de ce exact ora 3?
Aceasta nu a fost o oră întâmplătoare. Se alinia perfect cu orarul antic al lui
Dumnezeu pentru Paște.
Cronologia biblică a
răstignirii:
➡️9 dimineața (ora a treia): Iisus este pironit pe
cruce (Marcu 15:25).
➡️De la 12:00 la 15:00. (ora a șasea până la a noua):
Întunericul se lasă peste țară (Matei 27:45; Marcu 15:33; Luca 23:44).
➡️ora 15:00 (ora a noua): Iisus moare (Matei
27:46-50; Marcu 15:34-37).
Această oră a noua -
ora 15:00 - are o semnificație profundă, deoarece era chiar momentul în care
mieii de Paște erau sacrificați în Templu.
În secolul I, tradiția
iudaică și înregistrările istorice arată că mieii de Paște erau sacrificați în
curțile Templului în după-amiaza zilei de 14 Nisan (ziua de pregătire pentru
Paște).
Mișna (Pesachim 5:1)
descrie procesul care începe după jertfa zilnică de după-amiază (Tamid), în
jurul mijlocului după-amiezii.
Istoricul Flavius
Josephus consemnează că în timpul Paștelui, mieii erau sacrificați „de la ora
a noua până la ora a unsprezecea” (Războaiele evreilor 6.9.3) - adică, de la
aproximativ ora 15:00. până la ora 17:00
Mii de miei au fost
uciși în acea fereastră de timp când familiile se pregăteau pentru masa de
Paște din acea seară. Fiecare miel reprezenta eliberarea, așa cum sângele mielului
i-a protejat pe israeliți de moarte în timpul Exodului original (Exodul 12).
Exact în momentul în
care preoții au început să junghie acei miei simbolici, Iisus - Mielul lui
Dumnezeu care ridică păcatul lumii (Ioan 1:29) - Și-a dat ultima suflare pe cruce.
Nu a fost o
coincidență. A fost o precizie divină. Iisus a împlinit Paștele în fiecare
detaliu. Sângele Său, la fel ca cel al mielului de pe stâlpii ușii, îi
protejează pe credincioși de judecata veșnică. Moartea Sa la ora 15:00 a marcat
sacrificiul suprem - o dată pentru totdeauna - punând capăt nevoii de ofrande
de animale.
Mulți creștini se
opresc astăzi la ora 15:00 pentru a se ruga, onorând Ora Milostivirii Divine -
ora în care Mielul a murit pentru ca noi să putem trăi.
Ceasul lui Dumnezeu a fost
întotdeauna perfect. De la umbra Paștelui din Egipt până la realitatea de pe
Calvar, fiecare moment indică spre Iisus.
A murit la ora 3 pentru
ca moartea să nu se atingă de noi, să trecă peste noi, pentru totdeauna."

"On the day we now
call Good Friday, something extraordinary happened in Jerusalem. According to
the Gospels, Jesus was crucified at the third hour (around 9 a.m., Mark 15:25)
and died at the ninth hour—approximately 3 p.m. (Matthew 27:45-50; Mark 15:33-37;
Luke 23:44-46).
At that precise moment,
darkness covered the land, Jesus cried out “It is finished,” and He gave up His
spirit. The temple veil tore in two, the earth shook, and history changed
forever.
But why exactly 3
o’clock? This was no random hour. It aligned perfectly with God’s ancient
timetable for the Passover.
The Biblical Timeline
of the Crucifixion:
➡️9 a.m. (third hour): Jesus is nailed to the cross
(Mark 15:25).
➡️Noon to 3 p.m. (sixth to ninth hour): Darkness
falls over the land (Matthew 27:45; Mark 15:33; Luke 23:44).
➡️3 p.m. (ninth hour): Jesus dies (Matthew 27:46-50;
Mark 15:34-37).
This ninth hour—3
p.m.—carries deep significance because it was the very time the Passover lambs
were being sacrificed in the Temple.
In the first century,
Jewish tradition and historical records show that Passover lambs were
slaughtered in the Temple courts on the afternoon of Nisan 14 (the day of
preparation for Passover).
The Mishnah (Pesachim
5:1) describes the process beginning after the daily afternoon sacrifice
(Tamid), around mid-afternoon.
Historian Flavius
Josephus records that during Passover, the lambs were slain “from the ninth
hour till the eleventh” (Wars of the Jews 6.9.3)—that is, from about 3 p.m. to
5 p.m.
Thousands of lambs were
killed in that window as families prepared for the Passover meal that evening.
Each lamb represented deliverance, just as the blood of the lamb protected the
Israelites from death during the original Exodus (Exodus 12).
At the exact moment the
priests began slaughtering those symbolic lambs, Jesus—the Lamb of God who
takes away the sin of the world (John 1:29)—breathed His last on the cross.
This was no
coincidence. It was divine precision. Jesus fulfilled the Passover in every
detail. His blood, like the lamb’s on the doorposts, protects believers from
eternal judgment. His death at 3 p.m. marked the ultimate sacrifice—once for
all—ending the need for animal offerings.
Many Christians today
pause at 3 p.m. to pray, honoring the Hour of Divine Mercy—the hour when the
Lamb died so we might live.
God’s clock has always
been perfect. From the shadow of the Passover in Egypt to the reality on
Calvary, every moment points to Jesus.
He died at 3 o’clock so
that death would pass over us forever. "

În măsurarea timpului
evreiesc, „ora a treia” = 9:00 AM.
Iisus a atârnat pe
cruce de la ora 9:00 AM până la ora 3 PM - șase ore de suferință de neimaginat.
De la prânz până la ora 3 PM, întuneric complet a acoperit pământul (Matei
27:45), iar la ora a noua (3 PM), Iisus a strigat și Și-a dat duhul.
De ce este acest moment
atât de semnificativ?
⚡9 AM (Ora a treia) era
ora exactă la care se aducea jertfa de dimineață (mielul Tamid) zilnic în
Templu. Iisus, adevăratul Miel al lui Dumnezeu, a fost înălțat pe cruce chiar
în momentul în care sistemul de sacrificii indica spre El.
⚡3 PM (Ora a noua) era
ora jertfei de seară și a rugăciunii în Templu. Iisus a murit exact când se
aducea ultima jertfă a zilei - completând jertfa Sa perfectă, o dată pentru
totdeauna, pentru păcatele noastre.
Totul s-a întâmplat
exact conform programului divin al lui Dumnezeu. Niciun detaliu nu a fost
întâmplător. Aceasta este pentru a împlini profeția: „Iată Mielul lui
„Dumnezeu, care ridică păcatele lumii.” (Ioan 1:29)
Iisus nu doar că a
murit pentru noi - dar El a murit exact la momentul potrivit, împlinind fiecare
umbră și profeție a Vechiului Testament. El este Mielul lui Dumnezeu jertfit ca
ispășire pentru păcatele lumii.
„Dar El a fost străpuns
pentru fărădelegile noastre... prin rănile Lui suntem vindecați.” (Isaia 53:5)
Doamne Iisuse, ai milă
de noi. Amin! 🙏"

Gospel of Mark: “It was the third hour when they crucified Him.” (Mark 15:25)
In Jewish timekeeping,
the “third hour” = 9:00 AM.
Jesus hung on the cross
from about 9 AM until 3 PM—six hours of unimaginable suffering. From noon to 3
PM, complete darkness covered the land (Matthew 27:45), and at the ninth hour
(3 PM), Jesus cried out and gave up His spirit.
Why is this timing so
significant?
⚡9 AM (The Third Hour)
was the exact time the morning sacrifice (the Tamid lamb) was offered daily in
the Temple. Jesus, the true Lamb of God, was lifted up on the cross at the very
moment the sacrificial system pointed to Him.
⚡3 PM (The Ninth Hour)
was the time of the evening sacrifice and prayer in the Temple. Jesus died
precisely when the final sacrifice of the day was being offered —completing His
perfect, once-for-all sacrifice for our sins.
Everything happened
right on God’s divine schedule. Not one detail was random. This is to fulfill
the prophecy: “Behold the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the World.”
(John 1:29)
Jesus didn’t just die
for us—He died at the exact right time, fulfilling every shadow and prophecy of
the Old Testament. He is the lamb of God sacrificed in atonement for the sins
of the world.
“But He was pierced for
our transgressions… by His wounds we are healed.” (Isaiah 53:5)
Lord Jesus, have mercy
on us. Amen! 🙏"
