Potrivit Tradiției, atât CĂMAȘA, cât și o parte din VEȘMÂNTUL (sau roba purtată pe deasupra) DOMNULUI NOSTRU IISUS HRISTOS, au ajuns în GEORGIA. Despre CĂMAȘĂ se spune că este sub o criptă în temeliile Catedralei Patriarhale din orașul MȚHETA.

Despre CINSTITUL VEȘMÂNT AL DOMNULUI NOSTRU IISUS HRISTOS ne amintește astăzi, 23 iulie (10 iulie pe stil vechi), CALENDARUL ORTODOX GEORGIAN (calendar pe stil vechi; la ei astăzi este 10 iulie; calendar iulian). Foarte interesant, emoționant și important ce am aflat din pagina de azi a acestui calendar! Știam din Sfânta Evanghelie că la Răstignirea Domnului nostru Iisus Hristos soldații L-au dezbrăcat de HAINELE LUI și le-au împărțit între ei. Iar CĂMAȘA LUI, care era fără cusătură, țesută de sus până jos, soldații n-au sfâșiat-o ca s-o împartă, ci au hotărât să o dea unuia dintre ei, care o va câștiga prin tragere la sorți. Pagina de azi a calendarului ne spune că atât CĂMAȘA, cât și o parte din VEȘMÂNTUL (sau roba purtată pe deasupra) DOMNULUI au ajuns în GEORGIA. Despre CĂMAȘĂ se spune că este sub o criptă în temeliile Catedralei Patriarhale din orașul MȚHETA. Despre o parte din VEȘMÂNT se spune că a fost luată de Șahul Persiei Abbas I împreună cu alte comori. Apoi, Șahul a dat-o în dar Țarului Mihail Feodorovici și Patriarhului Filaret, fiind așezată cu mare cinste la Moscova, în Biserica Adormirii Maicii Domnului, în anul 1625. Tocmai acest eveniment este cinstit pe 10 iulie: MUTAREA CINSTITULUI VEȘMÂNT AL DOMNULUI NOSTRU IISUS HRISTOS DIN PERSIA LA MOSCOVA. Alte părți din CINSTITUL VEȘMÂNT sunt venerate în Germania (la Trier) și în Franța (la Argenteuil). ... În Calendarul Georgian este cinstită CĂMAȘA DOMNULUI pe data de 1 octombrie, pe stil vechi. ... CINSTITUL VEȘMÂNT ajuns la Moscova a fost împărțit în mai multe părți și dus în diferite locuri. La fel se va fi întâmplat și cu TUNICA sau CĂMAȘA. Să observăm că germanii au emis în anul 1959 timbru poştal cu Tunica sau Cămaşa lui Hristos. În Franța, din anul 2005 au reînceput pelerinajele la Tunica de la Argenteuil.
